Preparation (for 4 portions)
for flora country roast chicken
- Line a large roasting pan with baking paper. Combine the Flora Gold, Garlic and Rosemary in a bowl.
- Using your hands, loosen the chicken’s skin. Spoon the Flora Gold paste under the skin and rub between skin and the flesh. Place the chicken on a plate. Cover the chicken and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Remove it from the fridge and sprinkle with a little chicken spice.
- Roast the chicken in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes or 1 hour until golden brown. Make sure the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with sprigs of fresh Rosemary.
Tip: For a healthier roast chicken remove as much skin as possible. Cover roasting dish with foil to keep the chicken moist whilst roasting.
