for 12 persons Ingredients

  • 350 g of Self-rising Flour
  • 1 Tsp (5 ml) of Baking Powder
  • 85 g of Light Soft Brown Sugar
  • 85 g of Flora Gold
  • 1 Large Ripe Banana
  • 55 g Flaked Almonds
  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • 150 ml of Natural Low-fat Yoghurt
  • 150 ml of Low-fat Milk

Preparation (for 12 portions)

  1. Sift the flour and baking powder into a large mixing bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix very lightly (mixture does not have to be smooth).
  2. Spoon the mixture into 12 muffin tins (lined with paper cases if desired).
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C, 180°C convection oven, for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Best served warm with lashings of Flora margarine.
