STEAMED ASPARAGUS WITH PARMESAN AND GARLIC SAUCE

30 ml (2 tbsp.) Flora Regular 2 garlic cloves, chopped 250ml (1 cup) cream 60ml grated parmesan cheese A handful of chives, chopped and baby leaves to serve 500g asparagus

Preparation

  1. Heat the Flora Regular in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Add the cream and reduce until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and melt in the parmesan cheese.
  3. Steam the asparagus for 5 minutes or until just tender.
  4. Serve the asparagus with parmesan sauce. Sprinkle with chopped chives, micro leaves and serve with extra lemon wedges.
